Riddles to be answered in English only!
These two riddles are for students of English, and therefore are to be answered in English only: (Hai câu đố này dành cho các bạn học tiếng Anh, nên chỉ được giải bằng tiếng Anh thôi)
1. Why isn't your nose twelve inches long? (Tại sao cái mũi cuả bạn không dài đến 12 inches được?)
2. Why do birds fly South in the winter? (Tại sao chim bay về phương Nam khi Đông về?)

Tôi không có ư bắt bẻ ai, nhưng ao ước chúng ta đều viết trúng tiếng Anh thôi.
You have given another excellent answer to a table without legs: a timetable!
You also have given another excellent image of a shy clock hiding "her" face behind "her" two hands!
How about writing the word CANDY with two letters only, now?
Mời các bạn khác nưă thử viết (hay đánh vần) từ CANDY bằng 2 chữ cái thôi!

Before proceeding to Riddle #6, let me correct BNC's mistake. It is a minor one, but needs to be corrected. She put it, "another answers".
Trước khi đi tới câu 6, cho tôi sưả lại lỗi nhỏ cuả BNC (another answerS).
"Candy" means "Kẹo" in Vietnamese. Everybody knows it is spelled C-A-N-D Y (with five letters).
"Candy" nghiă tiếng Việt là "Kẹo". Ai cũng biết từ CANDY được viết bằng 5 chữ là C-A-N-D-Y.
The trick here is to write "C and Y" (only 2 letters).
Mẹo ở đây là viết "C và Y", nhưng "và" = "and" = AND
Eventually, the word "CANDY" is always spelled C AND Y!
Rút cuộc, từ "CANDY" vẫn viết bằng 5 chữ!

Hi all.
I have a problem in getting clear this, There are three foreigners, One has to pay me 3 thousand dollars one gives me 3 hundred dollars and the last gives 3 dollars. Please be sure that, all of them will have to pay the same amount for room payment and travel services and each of them will have to pay for bank fee which is 4% because they pay in cards. They give me 2 cards only and I have charged them 3303 USD plus 4% of the total amount but they still ask that, I have made a wrong work, Please help me ?

Dear langtubuon:
From what I see and understand, you are expecting to get from those guys US$3,303.00. Therefore, it doesn't matter how many cards they use and what the card fees are!
Am I right?
